QFS2016 Manuscript Production and Submission Instructions

Important: At least ONE of the authors must be registered to QFS2016 to submit a manuscript.

Paper submission deadline is July 15, 2016.

To facilitate the review process, in addition to submitting to JLTP, please e-mail your contribution in .pdf format to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  so we can distribute hard copies to QFS participants who will act as referees during the Conference.

Manuscripts can be prepared in either LaTeX or Microsoft Word formats. For LaTeX, use the template package found here: zipQFS2016_  A Microsoft Word template can be found here: docQFS2016_JLTP-MSWord.doc.

Articles should be no longer than 7 pages for poster and contributing oral presentations or up to 12 pages for invited oral presentations.

Figures in color will be presented online free of charge. If including color figures, include the following statement at the end of your caption: (Color figure online). Figures will normally be printed in black & white in the JLTP hard copy issue, but can be printed in color, at an extra cost, upon request.

Manuscripts must be submitted on-line following the instructions given on the JLTP Editorial Manager Website. Corresponding authors should connect directly to the site and upload all of the manuscript files by following the instructions provided.

To distinguish your article from regular articles, authors are required to select "S.I.: Quantum Fluids and Solids (QFS2016)" from the "Choose Article Type" list.

In the comments box, authors should state what category their article falls into by writing "Article belongs to Category XX", using one of the sorting codes listed below.

QG -- Quantum gases
QF -- Quantum fluids
QS -- Quantum solids
VT -- Vortices & turbulence
SC -- Unconventional Superconductors
DT -- Devices and Techniques
OT -- Other topics and model systems

Once the article has been accepted for publication, the corresponding author will receive a message from Springer regarding the transfer of copyright and the ordering of reprints. Once this has been dealt with, the corresponding author will receive proofs to examine and correct. After the final proof correction by the printer, the article will appear in the "online first" section of the JLTP Springer Webpage.

Once all the accepted articles have appeared "online first", the Conference Organizers will arrange them for publication in the QFS2016 special issue of JLTP in early 2017.
